Join our CSA!

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Farms often have less produce and lower cash flow in the winter months, while having high expenses for seeds, potting soil, equipment, materials, etc. The CSA allows you to invest in your community farm, receiving a "share" of the available produce throughout the growing season weekly. The CSA model encourages investors to eat seasonally and locally, while also sharing some of the risk the farmer takes on in order to keep small farms thriving. Our CSA runs from mid-May through Thanksgiving and offers our customers maximum choice and flexibility. Read about our pick up sites below!

You can find our vegetables for sale at our Farm Stand Friday evenings & Saturday mornings, New Morning Market in Woodbury, The Market in Bantam and Northville, through the NWCT Food Hub, The Farmer’s Market Of Black Rock in Bridgeport, CT on Saturdays 9-1PM June through October, and the Westport Farmers Market in Westport,CT on Thursdays from 10-2pm!

Our Growing Practices

We believe in growing food in a manner that is beneficial to our soil, water, air, and people. On our farm, we use practices that adhere to the National Organic Program standards, which means we never use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, only use OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) approved inputs, and strive to manage our farm in a way that mimics the systems we observe in nature. Composting, supporting beneficial insects, crop rotation, biodiversity of plants and soil microbes, and cover cropping are just some of the strategies we use to produce delicious vegetables for our community that are both safe and ecologically friendly. While farmers often get a bad reputation for being damaging to the environment, we believe that responsible management of farmland has the power to sequester carbon, protect our natural resources, and ensure stability of our planet for generations to come. Though we are not certified organic at this time, we invite our customers to come to the farm to see our practices in action.
